The team held their first training session on Wednesday afternoon at the Stade Said Mohamed Cheikh Stadium in Moroni in extremely hot conditions which were a concern for coach Vera Pauw.
“Our training session since our arrival at the Union of the Comoros went very well and we are looking forward to the match this coming Friday.
“The ladies are very focussed and understand the importance of returning home with a win.
“The heat is a bit of concern for us, with temperatures in the low 30s, but we will be well prepared for all conditions come Friday to ensure that we make South Africa, our sponsors Sasol and SAFA proud.
The match will be played at the Stade Said Mohamed Cheikh Stadium in Mitsamiouli.
