Roses thumped Limpopo’s Kanatla 3-0 in the first semi-final. Leading goalscorer Nocawe Skiti opened the scoring in the first half, before Nandipha Booi netted twice after the break.
Roses coach Xolile Madikane said: “It has been a long week and we played tough opponents. We managed to beat yet another good team and will be facing the strongest team in the final on Sunday. We lost 5-0 to Falcons in the Final in 2012, so we have to redeem ourselves on Sunday.”
Meanwhile, Falcons beat Mpumalanag’s Coal City Wizards 7-1, with Chantelle Esau scoring four goals, while Tina Selepe, Martha Mokoma and Chuene Morifi getting the others.
Wizards beat Kanatla 5-2 to secure bronze in the 3rd/4th playoffs.
