Bantwana cruised to victory at Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday courtesy of a brace from midfielder Karabo Dlamini and goals from Thambolinye Mzoneli, Miche Minnies and Sphumelele Shamase.
The return duel is scheduled for the Stade Boubker Aamar in Sale on Saturday, February 17. Kick-off is at 14h30 local time (16h30 SA time).
Dlamini will miss the decider through suspension after being sent off in the 55th minute yesterday, while Shamase is doubtful with a shoulder injury.
Bantwana coach Simphiwe Dludlu, whose charges beat Botswana 11-6 on aggregate in the previous round, was naturally pleased with the result in Soweto.
She said: "It's a very good score, because from conceding four goals against Botswana at home, to just one and that was in the run of play close to our goals, it could have been anyone's goal as well.
"But we made sure we made it difficult for them to score against us. It means our structure in defence, there was a lot of improvement. Credit to the girls, they had a mission and that mission was to defend first. Once we got that right, then we had the confidence to go forward and play as a team and create those chances.
"We knew if we were calm and confident it was gonna come, we will score goals. That is one thing we are proud of and that is unique about us as a team. As much as we score and we are open, we do score. That is why I'm happy about it. You can defend as much as you want, if you can't score you won't win games. So I'm happy about that compared to against Botswana. We took a lot of negatives from the game, took that as a learning curve."
