Head coach Jill Ellis has retained 20 members of the squad that competed in friendlies against Japan last month and also recalled co-captain Carli Lloyd who missed the 1-0 victory over Japan due to a knee injury.
The two sides have never met before and both are using the friendly, which will take place at Soldiers Field in Chicago, to prepare for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
This particular fixture could prove to be a tough one for Banyana as the USA are unbeaten in 12 matches played this year, winning 11 and drawing one.
The game also holds special significance for stars from the respective teams with Amanda Dlamini of Banyana Banyana and Hope Solo of the USA both poised to make their 100th appearance should they feature.
Solo could become the first goalkeeper in US and world history to achieve that milestone of 100 games should she play against South Africa.
