Bafana Bafana striker Percy Tau could come back to haunt former side Mamelodi Sundowns when Al Ahly face the Brazilians in a CAF Champions League Group B showdown on Saturday.
Tau will face Sundowns for the first time back home since leaving the club in 2018 to join Brighton Hove Albion in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old striker later joined Al Ahly after spells with Club Brugge and Anderlecht in Belgium.
Tau started his life in Egypt with few injuries at Al Ahly in 2021 but is now fit again and is considered for starting line-up when the Red Devils take on the Brazilians at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
"We are very glad that Percy Tau is fit once again and has been performing well and we hope will help us tomorrow with a good performance," Marcel Koller said.
"Today [Friday] we have our training session; we are going to pick up the best-prepared players for the match.
"We have 26 players travelling with us, and after the training today we going to choose the best 20 for the match."
Al Ahly is currently third in Group B after collecting just 4 points so far in their group stages campaign.
Kick-off is at 15:00.
