Benni: 'CAF opener a good experience'

McCarthy' side fell to a narrow 1-0 away defeat to Raja in their opening Group B CAF Champions League encounter on Saturday.

"Overall it was a nice positive experience for us," McCarthy said post-match.

"It was a good first match and we've got some good recovering to do before travelling to South Africa until we play our next game.

"Hopefully we take many positives from this game into the next match and we can then come away with a victory."

AmaZulu next host Horoya FC in their second CAF Champions League Group B encounter at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Friday.

Kick-off is at 21:00.
