Mamelodi Sundowns will meet defending champions Wydad Casablanca in the semi-finals after overcoming CR Belouzidad 6-2 on aggregate.
Sundowns welcomed back Mothobi Mvala, Khuliso Mudau, Aubrey Modiba, Teboho Mokoena, Neo Maema, Themba Zwane and Peter Shalulile from the win over Richards Bay FC on Tuesday.
With a commanding first-leg lead, the DStv Premiership champions started slow and battled to find holes as Belouizdad deployed ten-men behind the ball and monitored their movements.
The visitors continued to show courage and hit the front right in the midway stage when Sofiane Bouchar leaped on the end of a curling ball following a corner-kick and headed in.
Masandawana didn't lose focus on the half-hour mark and could've drawn level with a first-time shot on the edge of the area by Maema, but Alexis Guendouz made a quick reaction save.
Sundowns maintained courage and clawed level on the brink of halftime when Zwane played a quick one-two with Thapelo Morena outside the area and fired in the reverse pass.
Nabil Fakil made two changes for the visitors following the resumption in Aimen Bougerra as well as Abdelmoumen Chikhi.
The Brazilians went ahead two minutes after the break as Morena popped up at the far post and helped an angled cross from Mudau past Guendouz.
Zwane looked to compound matters for the visitors even further with a snap attempt in the area following a cutback, but Guendouz was well alert.
Belouizdad, who made a buoyant start, wasn't able to contain the threat of the Brazilians thereafter and totally had their backs against the wall.
Masandawana's renowned confidence in possession and smart off the ball runs frustrated the Algerians, as the match concluded with the host in the last four to face the holders Wydad Casablanca.
