Orlando Pirates thrashed Disciples FC 4-0 to book their spot in the CAF Champions League second preliminary round on Friday night.
Neither of the new signings in Deano Van Rooyen or Gilberto were included in the match day, as the Buccaneers restored Thabiso Sesane and Thalente Mbatha from the first-leg on Sunday.
The host were dominant from the onset and hit the front on six minutes as a spectacular own goal from a Disciples defender left the goalkeeper with no chance.
Tshegofatso Mabasa caused more havoc later on through a first-time volley from a tight angle round the six-yard area, but he was effectively repelled by the Disciples shot-stopper.
Starlet Relebohile Mofokeng joined the party around the midway point when he sneaked in from the blind-side after combining with Patrick Maswanganyi and finished calmly.
Pirates were in complete control and grabbed a third goal after Maswanganyi applied a drop of the shoulder way out of the area to curl into the top corner.
Maswanganyi unfortunately didn't finished the rest of the match and was substituted for Makhehleni Makhaula ahead of the second half.
Mabasa's menacing act up top continued and had the ball in the net over ten minutes from the break following a loose ball, but he was yet again denied by the offside flag.
The boys from Madagascar looked to grab a consolation goal later on through persistent forward momentum later on, but battled to find any joy.
Pirates still maintained a fair share of control as substitute Evidence Makgopa closed-in to making it four with a clever shot from a tight angle, but he was thwarted.
It did come albeit in the final minute of regulation time when Karim Kimvuidi combined with a pass from Saleng to finish smartly, as the Buccaneers advance to the second preliminary round.
