Johnson: 'Sundowns determined to secure second star'

Sundowns are potential favourites to lift the title after being drawn against Petro de Luanda of Angola in the competition's quarter-final stage.

"Sundowns have shown that they are one of the best teams," Johnson tells KickOff.

"I pray that this year they have luck on their side.

"They have three very good coaches who've been there before, they know what it's like to win away and at home.

"They have good players that are hungry to get the next star on the badge.

"I also believe they have a good president in Thlope Motsepe who is prepared to be a young president and put his name to the next star.

"That's important to Sundowns because they have the capabilities now, they went out into the market and recruited a few good players.

"I know Rulani, Steve and Manqoba will take it one game at a time, I can see that in Chloorkop they've prepared a lot more than they've been doing before."
