Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates' CAF quarter-final opponents revealed

Reigning DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns were drawn against Angolan side Petro de Luanda in the CAF Champions League quarter-final draw in Cairo on Tuesday.

Masandawana reached the knockout stage of the competition after recording a tournament-record 16 points from their group, ahead of reigning champions Al Ahly, who have been drawn against Raja Casablanca.

Quarter-final 1: Al Ahly (Egypt) v Raja Casablanca (Morocco)

Quarter-final 2: ES Setif (Algeria) v  ES Tunis (Tunisia)

Quarter-final 3: CR Belouizdad (Algeria) v Wydad AC (Morocco)

Quarter-final 4: Petro de Luanda (Angola) v Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa)

In the CAF Confederation Cup, Soweto giants and 2015 runners-up Orlando Pirates will meet Tanzania's Simba SC in the quarter-final of the competition.

The Buccaneers progressed to the next round of the prestigious tournament after topping the Group B standings with four wins and one draw from their six matches, ahead of Libyan giants Al-Ittihad. 

Quarter-final 1: Simba SC (Tanzania) v Orlando Pirates (South Africa)

Quarter-final 2: Al-Ittihad (Libya) v Al Ahly Tripoli (Libya)

Quarter-final 3: Pyramids FC (Egypt) v TP Mazembe (DR Congo)

Quarter-final 4: Al Masry (Egypt) v RS Berkane (Morocco)

The winner of quarter-final two will host the winner from quarter-final one in the semi-finals, while the winner of quarter-final four will meet the victor from quarter-final three.
