Despite qualifying for the CAF Champions League group stages with an emphatic 8-1 win Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi was still far from satisfied with his side's performance.
Sundowns defeated minnows La Passe by 8-1 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Friday to seal a huge 15-1 aggregate win in the competition's second preliminary qualifying stage.
"To be honest I was impressed with the first leg because we played with a lot of intensity from the beginning," Mngqithi said.

"But the second leg, the first half was not one of my best, I was not very excited.
"We played a monotonous game trying to play the ball behind the defence even though that was not available.
"We lost a lot of goals and found ourselves having to deal with transitions and we even conceded a stupid goal from a transition.
"But in the second half, we improved leaps and bounds and started to show the right mentality and forced them to make a lot of mistakes.
"We kept the structure in the right way because in the first half I also felt that the structure was not proper.
"We were too anxious to try to find space behind the defence which will make us have a lot of holes when we immediately lose possession."
Sundowns next welcome Marumo Gallants in a DStv Premiership clash at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
Kick-off is at 19:30.
