Pitso Mosimane has hit out at the Confederation of African Football after Morocco was once again named as the host country for the 2021/22 CAF Champions League final.
Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane has voiced his disapproval of CAF's decision to name Morocco as the official host country for the 2021/22 CAF Champions League final for the second season in a row.
The governing body made the announcement on Monday in a decision that has sparked widespread criticism, particularly as local Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca are strong contenders to reach the final of the competition, where they could meet Al Ahly.
"When the CAF Champions League group stages games were finished, rumours were saying SA is hosting [the fina]," Mosimane said in a Twitter post on Tuesday morning.
"Hao, jikijiki, after the semi-final games were decided, there was a loud silence on the country to host the final. Then after the first leg of the semi-finals, suddenly Morocco is hosting."

Mosimane also shared a number of social media posts that carried the tag #StopCAFCorruption in apparent protest of CAF's decision, including a number of tweets from other users who were critical of president Patrice Motsepe.
Al Ahly have also formally addressed a letter to CAF in which the club has called for a neutral venue to be used for the final of the continent's showpiece club competition.
"Al Ahly SC sent an official letter on Sunday to Mr. Patrice Motsepe, the president of CAF, demanding a neutral venue for the 2022 CAF Champions League final," the reigning African champions said in a statement.
"Al Ahly highlighted in the letter that the final should not be hosted by one of the countries of the four teams competing in the CAF Champions League semi-finals and a neutral venue will provide equal chances for the four teams.
"Al Ahly stressed that the game should be held in a neutral venue, since CAF did not choose the hosting country in an earlier stage, noting that giving one of the four teams the home advantage in the final contradicts the fair play standards.
"Al Ahly expressed their full trust in CAF's professionalism and fairness and their commitment to preserving equal rights for the four competing teams."
