Brighton Mhlongo happy to keep playing

While most PSL clubs are in recess following the conclusion of the Absa Premiership season, the Buccaneers are still working hard for the CAF Confederation Cup.

They are just 90 minutes away from making it into the group stages following a brilliant 2-0 first leg, play-off win against Guinean club AS Khaloum.

"Let's just put that one aside [of having no break] a job is a job and we just have to soldier on," Mhlongo tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"We know this is our bread and butter and we just have to keep on fighting for the pride of the nation.”

The 23-year-old adds: “I'm enjoying the journey in Africa. Some of the games, I wish they were live on TV because the performances have been fantastic.”

The second leg of the tie against AS Kaloum will be played on June 6 at Orlando Stadium.
