CAF Confederation Cup draw: Orlando Pirates grouped with two former African champions

Orlando Pirates have been grouped with two former African champions in the CAF Confederations Cup after the draw took place on Monday in Cairo, Egypt.

After easing past Botswana Premier League champions Jwaneng Galaxy in the play-off round with a 4-0 aggregate win, Pirates will now face two giants of the continent.

The 2015 Confederation Cup finalists were seeded in pot three and drawn with two-time Champions League winners Enyimba and ES Setif - while Libyan giants Al Ahly Benghazi round off Group A.

Etoile du Sahel, Young Buffaloes, Primeiro de Agosto and Namungo have yet to complete their play-off ties to seal their place in the group stage yet.

The group stage fixtures will begin on 10 March and end on 28 April where matchday six will take place for all 16 teams from Group A to D.
