Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler urges charges to up their game

Pirates are still nursing their wounds after they were beaten 2-1 by Egyptian side Zamalek in their group game played at the Mbombela Stadium a fortnight ago.

Bucs are set to jet out of the country for Tunisia on Thursday evening following last weekend’s pre-season King’s Cup tournament in Swaziland.

The Pirates coach says he has already done his homework regarding Sfaxien’s style of play and hopes his charges will come to the party at the Stade Taieb Mhiri this weekend.

"I know about them - I watched them when they played against Zamalek. They are a good team,” he said. "At this stage of competition, you are not playing against poor teams – they are all good.

"We have to up our game in every game we play, and have to up our game if we hope to get the results away from home on Sunday,” he added.

Kick-off in Tunisia is set for 21:15 on Sunday evening, South African time.
