Pirates secured a 2-0 victory - and a semi-final berth in the process - through strikes either side of the break from Mpho Makola and Oupa Manyisa at Orlando Stadium.

“Obviously as a goalkeeper it’s always good to keep a clean sheet and help the team win. I am glad that in one way or another; I helped the team achieve its objective.”

The Equatorial Guinea international added: “My team-mates must also be applauded for the way they supported me throughout the match. They made it easier for me to settle into the match.”
