The Buccaneers were rampant in dispatching AS Khaloum 4-1 (6-1 on aggregate) to qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup group stages, wih the likes of Thabo Rakhale, Oupa Manyisa and Thabo Qalinge turning on the style in the second half.
Manyisa, who played one of the passes of the season in setting up Sifiso Myeni for the fourth goal, says it was a good way to sign off.
“It felt good to see everything go our way; we have been putting a lot of effort in at training, so it paid off today,” he said after the match.
“We wanted to come here, enjoy ourselves, and give the supporters something in our last game of the season.”
Pirates are now through to Group B, with a match against AC Leopards first up later this month.
