Pirates assistant coach Moloi respect for Confederation Cup Group B rivals Sfaxien

Pirates, who fly to Tunisia tomorrow, lost 2-1 to Zamalek at home in their previous match in the competition on July 11.

The White Knights top the pool with six points - three more points than the Buccaneers, and five ahead of Sfaxien and AC Leopards, who recently drew 1-1.

“It is going to be a difficult game for us,” Moloi told the club's website. “They are tactically strong and just a good side all around. They qualify for CAF tournaments every year which indicates the calibre of team they are. Furthermore we know that the concentration levels of the sides from the north of the continent are quite high.

“They do have their weaknesses that we will definitely look to explore and try to take advantage of. Despite the loss in 2006 in Tunisia, we should have beaten them and I think our current squad is good enough to get the job done but there are certain aspects of our game that we need to improve upon.”

Bucs last met Sfaxien in the semi-finals of the 2006 CAF Champions League, going down 1-0 on aggregate.
