Pirates lost 2-1 to the White Knights in a CAF Confederation Cup tie in Nelspruit on Saturday.
Bucs took the lead when Majoro scored with his second touch of the game, moments after coming on for fellow striker Erasmus in the 67th minute at Mbombela Stadium.
However, the visitors swiftly hit back through Maarouf Youssef and Mostafa Fathi to take control of Group B.
"Kermit did very well. To be honest, I thought he struggled at the beginning of the game but as the game went on I thought he got a bit stronger," said Tinkler.
"In the second half Kermit only created one or two chances for himself and I started to think that we needed a change upfront and it turned to be the right decision because Majoro came on and gave us the lead.
"The substitution worked but I wasn't disappointed entirely with Kermit's performance, I thought he did well."
