Matlaba and Manyisa both played the full 90 minutes against AS Kaloum of Guinea on Saturday as Orlando Pirates booked their place in the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup in style.
Yet the former Free State Stars full-back says he is fully fit and has no problem playing for the country as well as his club during the League recess.
"It's all about training. I'm training so hard, even when we train once at Pirates, I'm training twice a day," he says.
"I'm not scared of burnout, this is part of football. I want to play football so why should I complain?
"As you know, Orlando Pirates' players are fit as we don't have a break. Me and Oupa Manyisa we have always been playing so coming to Bafana Bafana, it is my country, I have to always be here when they need us."

Matlaba says it was an exceptional feeling to play at the 2015 African Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea in January, and is determined to also qualify for Gabon 2017.
"The experience at Equatorial Guinea was great and we want to test that again," he says.
"Winning on Saturday will give us something to play for again at Afcon so we need to have a flying start in these qualifiers."
Meanwhile, Black Leopards attacker Siphelele Ntshangase also joined the national team from the Under-23s at today's morning session after missing yesterday's training.
