So who are their CAF Confederation Cup next opponents?
CF Mounana is only seven years old, a baby compared to the stature of Orlando Pirates, having only qualified for Gabon's top league in 2010.
The current campaign is only the fourth season that CF Mounana have been competing as a football club at the top level.
Based in the capital and largest city Libreville, Mounana play at the 7 000-seater Stade Augustin Monédan de Sibang.
Mounana qualified by finishing runners-up in the Gabon Championnat National D1 last season, the same position they finished in 2012/13.
They won their first and only championship in 2011/12, and the Gabon Cup in 2012/13.
Mounana have been scoring goals during their CAF Confederation Cup campaign. They won their preliminary tie against Polisi Morogoro from Tanzania 8-1 on aggregate, and beat Power Dynamos from Zambia 4-3 on aggregate.
Against Dynamos they were 4-0 up after their home leg and lost 3-0 in the away leg, but still managed to hold on and see out the result.
CF Mounnana are at home against Pirates in the first leg on the weekend of April 18.
