Cape Town City coach Eric Tinkler has explained what Lebogang Manyama will bring to the team after joining the coaching staff.
The Citizens made it back-to-back wins on Wednesday evening after defeating Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 at the FNB Stadium.
Manyama retired from professional football a few months ago and has now taken up the role as one of Tinkler's assistants.
The Citizens tactician insists Manyama is discipline on the players as they aim to go on a good run of results.
"Plenty because Lebo still thinks like a player and obviously Lebo is a player that has worked under me before as a player and he comes in with the same energy that he used to have as a player, with the same leadership that he used to have as a player," Tinkler told SuperSport."He's not only coming here to be a players' friend, because when he was my captain he could be harsh on them. So it's not only me instilling discipline, he's instilling discipline (as well) and reminding the players what we as a club has achieved in the past.
"And right now we need to be looking in that direction and not find ourselves where we find ourselves now," he added.
