Cape Town City are not panicking after the departure of Khanyisa Mayo, although one of the options from abroad, as a replacement, has ban issues, according to head coach Eric Tinkler.
The departure of Mayo to Algerian side CR Belouizdad over the weekend has created a hole in attack, especially after City also parted ways with Angolan striker Jo Paciencia.

Ahead of the MTN8 quarter-final clash against Sekhukhune United on Saturday, head coach Eric Tinkler suggested that they are not panicking following the latest developments at the club.
"A lot of people assume we've done our scouting last minute. We've done our scouting a long time ago, in terms of who we wanna bring in, who fits the profile, who has the personality, who has the characteristics," Tinkler told the media during a press conference held in Cape Town.
It is understood City are still awaiting the arrival of former Maritzburg United marksman Amadou Soukouna, with a deal already concluded.
However, he is currently grounded in Thailand.
Soukouna was supposed to have arrived in Cape Town in July, but he is facing a ban after overstaying his official days in Thailand, where he played for Bangkok United.
"So, we have a replacement for him, which unfortunately right now can't get into the country because he's banned, but we're hoping to resolve that situation as quickly as possible," said the former Bafana Bafana midfielder.
"The youngster Jody [Ah Shene] has really stepped up, he has done well so far during pre-season, so we're very happy with the progress he has made."
City's options have also been helped by finally having registered Namibian Prins Tjiueza, who was supposed to have joined in January but picked up an injury on national duty at the Africa Cup of Nations and failed his medical.
KickOff understands that the Citizens supported Tjiueza in his rehabilitation and completed the transfer during the off-season.

"Obviously we have Prins, who has come back from injury, who can play as a nine or false nine, so we have the options available."
The ex-Maritzburg coach also rebuffed reports that they are looking at Kermit Erasmus as one of the options to bolster their attack.
