Cape Town Spurs are understood to be closing on a Tanzanian international in a bid to bolster their squad this season.

Defender Gabriel Michael is set to arrive in South Africa before the end of this week with the hope of securing a deal with Spurs during the current transfer window.
The 27-year-old is currently in the books of Singida Fountain Gate where he is also the club's captain.

According to an official at Singida Fountain Gate, the deal between the club and Spurs for the services of Michael, is believed to be close to being concluded.
"The deal is close. The player has already left Tanzania for South Africa. He is expected to undergo medicals before the end of this week. We are confident that the deal will go through," said the club official.
Michael previously worked with Cape Town Spurs coach Ernst Middendorp during his short stint in Tanzania before returning to South Africa to join the Urban Warriors.
Spurs are at the basement of the DStv Premiership log with only three points so far this season.
