The CEO of Cape Town Spurs, Alexi Efstathiou, has lifted the veil on interest in a few of their players from top-flight clubs as the Urban Warriors wave goodbye to DStv Premiership football.
A player exodus is expected to take place at Ikamva this week now that the season has ended, with their relegation back to the Motsepe Foundation Championship having been confirmed a few weeks back.
The likes of Rushwin Dortley, Ashley Cupido, Asanele Velebayi and teenage sensation Luke Baartman are all expected to leave Spurs.

In fact, as reported by this website on Thursday, Cupido has handed in a transfer request, with the likelihood that he will be moving to one of the Gauteng sides soon.
Just as well, according to Efstathiou, the Urban Warriors will not stand in any player's way if the price is right.
"As professionals, the players will need to understand that they didn't stop getting paid two weeks ago, they are still getting paid until the end of July," he affirms in his interview with KickOff.
"So, they have to be professional about what they do. It is what it is.
"There's been a lot of interest in any of our players, though I'm not going to mention their [interested clubs'] names.
"Of course, we are open to listening to offers, but at the same time... I mean, we don't wanna be in the National First Division for five years. We would like to be promoted back up.
"So, because of that, we have contracts with most of our players.
"Unless the offers are more valuable than what we're keeping the players for, we will carry on."

Collecting a mere 20 points from 30 matches contributed massively to Spurs' return to the second tier, having started the season with Shaun Bartlett in charge and ending it with Ernst Middendorp, while in-between Sean O'Connor took up the reins on a caretaker basis.
The side's last game of the campaign, against Kaizer Chiefs at DHL Stadium on Saturday, was a mere formality.
