In our exciting feature, My Welcome to the League Moment, KickOff catches up with former Ajax Cape Town midfielder Clifford Ngobeni.
Ngobeni, who also had a stint with Soweto giants Orlando Pirates, says he will never forget the football match that made him realise PSL football is a different kettle of fish compared to the lower divisions.
"It's the game we played against Orlando Pirates in Kimberly, I was up against Benedict Vilakazi and Gift Leremi," Ngobeni tells KickOff.
"That was my toughest game ever, I was still playing for Ajax Cape Town.
"As a new boy in the PSL, it was very difficult for me coming from the development.
"I had to fight my way against those two giants.
"We played them twice, in the league and the cup. And we beat them twice.
"The altitude in Kimberley was very, very hot that day.
"Pound-for-pound, Gift Leremi was very strong on and off the ball, it was difficult to dispossess him.
"Tso Vilakazi was busy making runs, in one incident in the second half, I had to pick him up, he made a blind run, and I didn't see him and he ended up scoring.
"So ja, Muhsin Ertugral gave me a hell of a tough time.
"Tso told me how they were going to score, and they did score exactly like that.
"Tso and Gift did their job quietly, they didn't say much during the match.
"Muhsin had been reminding us the whole week how Tso runs and how Gift can shoot left and right.
"I tried to stop him Tso, but he hit a marvellous shot, I didn't press him early.
"Tso scored, then after the game Muhsin told me, you see boys you must listen when I talk to you, I know what I'm talking about.
"I don't think there is anything wrong I did on that day though; we just have to give credit to the opponents.
"They were too good, and they knew what they were doing. They've been in the PSL for some time.
"But at the end of the day, we won the game, and remember the game of football is not won individually."
