There has been a twist of events in the saga involving Surprise Ralani and Cape Town Spurs.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Cape Town City winger signed a one-year deal with the Urban Warriors but surprisingly, after spending only two months at the club, asked to be released from his contract due to some 'personal issues'.
According to sources, the player has backtracked on his decision to leave the club with indications that the winger is looking to be paid for the remaining months of his contract.

KickOff has now been informed that the 36-year-old has backtracked on his decision to leave the club and now seeks to be compensated.
Insiders have revealed that the "personal reasons" attributed by the club, are believed to possibly be financial.

The club could not be reached for comment.
Spurs are still stuck at the bottom of the DStv Premiership table with three points in 13 matches, and their next league encounter is against Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
