Kaizer Chiefs starlet Mfundo Vilakazi has revealed what advice Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro gave him ahead of the Carling All-Stars XI's Carling Cup victory over Stellenbosch on Saturday.
Vilakazi put in a stand-out performance and scored the opening goal as the All-Stars XI registered a 2-1 victory over the Carling Knockout winners.
The 18-year-old was one of six DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) players voted to be part of the star-studded team that include Itumeleng Khune, Thembinkosi Lorch and Njabulo Ngcobo among others.

Leading from the dugout was Riveiro, who lifted his fourth trophy since the start of his coaching career in South Africa
Speaking to SABC Sport after the match, Vilakazi revealed what advice he was given by the Spaniard.
"I feel happy because I managed to make people proud, the same way when I've made them proud in the DDC, I was able to make them proud at a higher level," Vilakazi said.
"He (Jose Riveiro) told me not to be afraid of getting the ball.
"To ask for the ball, do my thing, not to be nervous and to play the same way I play in the DDC.
"When I scored, I really got into the match. I was really happy. But this is what I'm used to doing, it's not a big deal."

Meanwhile, Vilakazi is yet to make his senior debut for Amakhosi but insisted that he is in no rush.
"Coach Cavin called me to train with the first team in order to prepare for the Carling match," Vilakazi told media before the match.
"I think I am [ready to play in the first team] but things won't always go my way. I believe everything has its own time. So when the time is right, I will play in the first team. It's not for me to force things."
