Why Truter turned down Chippa's offer

Former Sekhukhune United coach Brandon Truter is open to listen to any offers both locally and outside the country.

Truter is currently unattached after parting ways with Sekhukhune United last year. The Cape Town-born coach was linked with a move to join Chippa United before the club made a decision to appoint Kwanele Kopo and Thabo September as co-coaches last month.

Truter is currently engaged with the University of Cape Town on football-related courses. Truter confirmed the offer received from Chippa United last year.

"There was interest from Chippa United but the talks broke down. I am still available and currently engaged with UCT on a football program," Truter tells Kick Off.

"There has been interest but at the moment nothing concrete. Yeah, I am available (to listen to any offers). It doesn't matter either locally or outside the country," he added.

Truter has also coached Richards Bay and Moroka Swallows in his career, making history last season when he helped Sekhukhune United qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup tournament for their first time in their history.
