Chippa United are expected to make a crucial decision about the future of Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali in the next few days.
Nwabali's future with Chippa going into next season remains uncertain with several teams both locally and internationally said to be chasing his signature.

The burly glove man's contract with the Chilli Boys is set to expire in June next year and the player could walk free in the next six months if the club doesn't find space to sell him during the off-season.
Pirates are already said to be leading the race to sign the Super Eagles man in a swap deal that could see midfielder Goodman Mosele, who spent the past season on loan in Gqeberha, moving in the opposition direction on a permanent basis.
Nwabali was in goals for Nigeria when they played South Africa and Benin during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The West Africans are still to win a single match in the World Cup qualifiers, shockingly going down 2-1 to Benin on Monday.
The Mighty Buccaneers have released Richard Ofori and Siyabonga Mpontshane, which has raised speculation that the Soweto giants could be signing a new goalkeeper.
Nwabali's manager Mohammed Lawal says reports linking his client to Pirates remain just that, a rumour.
"I don't know anything. I only see the reports in the media. We have not been approached by any team, unless if Pirates are speaking directly to Chippa United," Lawal tells KickOff.
