Chippa United have confirmed another technical team change.
The Eastern Cape club announced that Kwanele Kopo will step down as head coach, with his contract coming to an end today.

According to the statement, the coach was offered a contract extension, which he declined, and that Thabo September will take up the role as head coach.

Chippa have been notorious in changing coaching staff, with Kopo and September replacing Morgan Mammila as co-coaches at the start of 2024.
The duo kept the club in the top flight, after surviving relegation by a mere four points.

Kopo was then appointed sole head coach ahead of the new campaign, with September in the role of assistant coach.
The Chilli Boys are currently in 11th position on the Premiership log, with 14 points from 11 games.
September will have some time to regroup, with Chippa's next league outing scheduled for 11 Jan against Royal AM.
