A relieved Lehlohonolo Seema said Chippa United were delighted to survive relegation after a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Golden Arrows on the final day of the season while admitting uncertainty over his future.
Chippa secured an all-important point at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium as Marumo Gallants were automatically relegated with Maritzburg United to contest the promotion/relegation playoffs.

"Today was the biggest day for Eastern Cape resident and all Chippa United fans and when the game started we knew we were in 15th place and accepted our fate.
"After the result to TS Galaxy we accepted our fate and knew we'd be going to the playoffs.
"After Maritzburg's result we knew we just needed a point so that we could continue to the playoffs. So the message was easy, let us not lose this game if we cannot win the match.
"Whatever else happens we were prepared for the playoffs and if the other results favour us it would be a bonus.
"I really want to thank the players as I think they really went through a lot this season even when I arrived I could see they were mentally exhausted."
Seema though admitted that he was uncertain over his managerial future after being roped in on a rescue mission for the last four league games of the season.
"I'll still need to hear what is the way forward," Seema added.
"As long as I'm working in football I'll be happy and to help where I can and where I'm wanted.
"Surely there's someone out there, a team who would be willing to give me just one season [as a head coach] then let's see how far I can go."
