Chippa United caretaker coach Morgan Mammila says it was a challenge for the team to face Kaizer Chiefs after three weeks of no action.
Chippa had not played competitively after the international break but pulled off a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Chiefs on Saturday evening at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Mammila was made aware that the Chilli Boys won three consecutive games for the first time in six years.

"Actually I was told it's eight years this team has not won three consecutive games but credit goes to the boys, they stuck to the plan," Mammila responded in his post-match interview on SuperSport TV.
"I said we were going to dictate this game in our terms and we've done that and the support that we're getting from the Chippa United family, from the chairman, supporters and everyone who loves football.
"Back to football, it was difficult because we haven't played for close to a month, we didn't want to go pound for pound with Chiefs because they were gonna kill us.
"But what must we do now? Let's play a rondo with them so that they must not come to your defence, so that we'll study easily and they did that, credit to my boys. I don't have anything to say, whatever that we were doing for the past three weeks these are the fruits for it."
Mammila elaborated on the two substitutions he made at halftime, with Etiosa Ighodaro and Ayabulela Kanqobe helping the side battle from behind.
"Ja, this is what we have been cooking for the past three weeks, I knew that they were not going to last for, hence I prepared those subs at halftime, immediately at half-time because I knew 45 minutes they were going to give me a good game and it's what they did," he said.
