AmaZulu FC launch business school

DStv Premiership side AmaZulu have launched a business college in eThekwini, with South African legends such as Lucas Radebe and Mbulelo Mabizela in attendance to share their wisdom.

Usuthu has announced the launch of a business school called the AmaZulu Business College (ABC), and the institution is said to be spearheaded by Manqoba Zungu who also has the backing of the clubs' chief executive officer Sine Zungu.

It is said that AmaZulu players will be given graduate training in entrepreneurship and business management.

"This past weekend saw the launch of our AmaZulu Business College, activated in partnership with Mazi Asset Management," read a tweet from AmaZulu's official Twitter account.

"The inaugural session attended by Usuthu players, technical team, and staff aimed to inspire our current crop of players and impart to them the necessary skills to become future-focused business leaders.

"Bafana Bafana legend, Lucas Radebe and former Usuthu defender, Mbulelo Mabizela were also on hand to offer advice alongside Coach Benni McCarthy.

Usuthu seems to be certainly moving on to greater heights as on the field they are also high-rolling as they have continental ambitions in the CAF Champions League.

Along with their partnerships, including one with carmaker Mitsubishi, the KwaZulu-Natal outfit is looking to further strengthen its status as one of South Africa's most prominent clubs.

The form in the DStv Premiership this season has been a mixed bag, as they have only recorded one win from six games but have only lost just a single game so far.

Your thoughts, please?
