An African-born Barcelona star has seemingly hinted that he may be a Kaizer Chiefs fan after showing off his Amakhosi merchandise.
The DStv premiership giants are one of the biggest teams in the African continent and this means that their influence can often spread over the seas. After all, the Soweto derby is one of the biggest to ever exist as it consistently brings Mzansi to a standstill.
In fact, some South African teams are so popular that they have active fans in other parts of the world. One team who is lucky enough to have that is Kaizer Chiefs as they seemingly have a fanbase in Mexico that shows love for the side despite being 16,549 km away from Soweto.

It appears that the Johannesburg-based side has a new admirer in the form of Barcelona's teenage sensation Ansu Fati. The wonderkid was born in Guinea-Bissau and moved to Spain when he was just a young boy. Perhaps that is where the tricky winger first learned about Chiefs' existence.

There is a chance that the 19-year-old does not support Chiefs and could just be wearing the cap due to its fashionable look but either way this was just an example of how big Stuart Baxter's side really is.
Fati is not the only big name to recently show off some merchandise from a Soweto-based team. Arsenal legend Ian Wright was also recently seen in his Buccaneers drip. The star has openly admitted that he is an Orlando Pirates supporter and sent the side his best wishes ahead of the most recent derby.
