Collins Mbesuma donates PPEs to Roan Antelope General Hospital

The former Kaizer Chiefs striker donated liquid soap, hand sanitisers, gloves and hand-washing water points to Zambia's Roan Antelope General Hospital through the Collins Mbesuma Foundation.

During the donation project manager Charity Munthali said they have started to roll out the programmes they promised during the launch in June.

Roan Constituency is the area where Mbesuma grew up, and through Munthali he told the hospital that he would soon return with more products for the frontline personnel, who are doing great work.

Mbesuma also donated to three other institutions including his former school Makoma. The second recipient was the Mother of Millions Foundation, which is a project that looks after children born in prison. He donated various children's clothes and toys.

"I am very happy to give back to my community that I come from and I hope to do more both in the Foundation and Football Academy," Mbesuma tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"My objective is to touch people's lives. I would like to thank my project managers, Eagle Events Management Ltd, for representing me well."

AmaTuks played to a 1-1 draw with Real Kings at Johannesburg Stadium on Wednesday afternoon in their first game of the GladAfrica Championship restart.
