Who are Lotto?
Apart from the likes of Nike, PUMA and adidas, the Lotto brand is one of the lesser-known sportswear labels associated with clubs in South Africa historically.
However, in recent times, the Italian label has seen its profile increase in Mzansi football with regards to clubs and player reps. At the moment, Lotto is currently the kit sponsor for Maritzburg United, while the likes of Cape Town City'a Taariq Fielies and Orlando Pirates star Thabang Monare are the brand's leading athletes.
New baller
As for the player in question, Maritzburg United midfielder Travis Graham recently showed that he is Lotto's newest member on Instagram.
The ex-Cape Town Spurs man was previously seen rocking apparel and boots form different brands, with the new Lotto posts including a 'Lotto Athlete' tag in his IG bio indicating his tie with the brand.

Brands teaming up with individual stars through endorsement deals has long been a practice in football and the commercialisation of the sport. Through these paid partnerships, players receive an extra stream of income, while the brand receives its fair share of benefits which include exposure.
