FIFA 22 dumps Bafana Bafana

If you prefer to play with Bafana Bafana on FIFA games then you will have to find a new team after the nation was left out of the latest edition.

FIFA was created in 1993 and went on to become one of the most popular games to ever be made. The football game's previous edition FIFA 21 sold more than 325 million copies and will be hoping that the new product can reach the same heights.

With the new creation set to officially be released on October 1, 2021, EA decided to allow gamers to play a ten-hour free trial and many Mzansi players were left upset when they saw that South Africa was one of a few teams who were omitted.

It remains unknown as to why the 2010 FIFA World Cup hosts were left out but there are a few African countries who joined them.

The Daily Mirror reports that the other nations on the long list include Ivory Coast, Egypt and Cameroon.

Another continent that was affected is South America who lost some heavyweights in the new edition while the 2020 European Championship quarter-finalists, Switzerland also face a shock exclusion according to earlygame.

Removing teams like this could hurt the value of game modes such as player and manager careers where people will only have a select few national sides to manage or play for.

Your thoughts, please?
