How Esrom Nyandoro has been keeping up in retirement

As per the usual, some former players tend to move away from the limelight once they retire, and former Mamelodi Sundowns star Esrom Nyandoro is no exception to this rule. Here's a look at what he has been up to!

For a lack of a better word, players often disappear after hanging up their boots as they begin somewhat of a new life once their playing days are behind them.

Downs legend Nyandoro was an undoubtedly famous figure at Chloorkop, however, one can suspect that not many know what he gets up to nowadays.

To the best of our knowledge, the Zimbabwean is now a soccer analyst and football talent scout. Also a dedicated family man, Nyandoro spends a good time in the company of his four sons and wife.

A habit he seems to not have lost is his interest in training and fitness as he is known to exercise quite regularly.

A dominant midfielder, and a hard man at the centre of the park, the former Masandawana captain joined the South African topflight side in 2004 when he signed from AmaZulu Bulawayo, where he later spent 11 years with The Brazilians before retiring in 2015 – making him one of the few players to have only played for one club in the PSL era.

Your thoughts, please?

Which of the three defensive midfielders would you choose, Hlompho Kekana or Esrom Nyandoro
