Although Bafana Bafana will not be at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, South African super-fan Mama Joy Chauke has teased her appearance at the showpiece through a series of cryptic posts. Here's a look!
Mama Joy made headlines at the back end of last year when she sensationally joined Royal AM, despite being widely known as one of Orlando Pirates' life-long fans.
Her switch was met with mixed reactions as some felt her decision to join the eThekwini outfit was motivated by money among other things, while some were happy for her as she would go to where she is seemingly appreciated.
However, one thing that has never changed is her devotion to the national team and flying the South African flag high - and there has been reasonable suspicion that she might be heading to Qatar later this year.

Working non-stop
What is often understated about Mama Joy is that she does a lot of work for the South African beautiful game through advocacy and her involvement in various supporter initiatives.
It now seems that the veteran fan is campaigning for the World Cup, as a number of her recent posts include promos and images of her in stunning South African regalia.
If she eventually goes to the tournament, we wonder who she'll be backing as her beloved Bafana fell short to Ghana, who will play Nigeria in March in order to book a spot in Qatar.
