Mamelodi Sundowns fan Berth Mafathle receives new house built by Masandawana

Mamelodi Sundowns supporters have lived up to their promise after delivering a brand new house to one of their loyal members of the club.

Sundowns supporters put together money and other resources to help build a house for one of their supporters, Berth Mafathle, after her house was ruined by a fire in Hebron, Mabopane last year.

Mafathle was sleeping in a shack before Masandawana built a new house and officially handed it over to her in Tshwane on Saturday.

Speaking to snl24.com/kickoff after the ceremony, Mafathle urged the Yellow Nation to keep the same spirit even to other supporters.

"This sounds like a dream. I am just over the moon with joy," said Mafathle.

"What Sundowns supporters have done to me, I wish they can do the same to others. I didn't have a decent place to sleep with my family but today I will have a peaceful night.

"Thank you so much for the love to all Mamelodi Sundowns supporters. Let's keep this good spirit and enjoy supporting our favourite team, Mamelodi Sundowns."

Mafahle wished outgoing club president Patrice Motsepe well in his new position as CAF president was his appointment was made official at the CAF presidential elections in Morocco on Friday.

"I wish Dr. Patrice Motsepe all the best in his new position," she added. "He has shown to be a good father in taking care of supporters. We will continue supporting him as CAF president."
