Siphiwe Tshabalala and Reneilwe Letsholonyane made a touching gesture earlier this week when they gave back to the KwaZulu-Natal community. Check it out!
What Happened?
Footballers are often criticised in the modern era for spending their money on items such as cars and houses without giving back to those who need it.
Luckily, there are a few footballers across the globe who use their influence for the better and are involved in charitable work that entails giving back to the less fortunate in the form of food packages and warm clothing.

Uplifting the community
In South Africa, Shabba is one of the leading names as his organisation called "The Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation" has consistently given back to those that are in need. This time was no different, as they headed to Isithokoziso Primary School to drive a school shoe initiative.
While it may seem like a small donation, children having a lack of school shoes has been an issue that is very common in Mzansi. This gift will allow young people to walk with dignity and hope.

However, the giving did not stop there as they took their relief program to Canelands Verulam in KwaZulu-Natal to assist the families in distress because of the floods with essentials and blankets.
Did you know?
While Shabba lost to Springboks legend Tendai Mtawarira in a cooking show recently, the rugby player decided to give R80 000 prize to the footballer who has delivered on his promise to use this money for his foundation.
