With most things that became popular, football tends to work its way into that industry and the majority of European teams have active accounts and post content whether it is the players being silly or showing off their other skills.

Some South African sides are on TikTok but none are as active as their European competition.

Cape Town City star Craig Martin is one of the active players who regularly participate in dance challenges while his teammate Taariq Fielies follows suit.

Mamelodi Sundowns Women's team are quite active on TikTok and tends to hop onto the latest dance challenges.

Cape Town Spurs star Clayton Daniels has also got a reputation for his videos about football with a majority of them being about Manchester United's struggles.

SuperSport United star Grant Margeman is also one of the more popular players on TikTok as his comedic nature has brought him a huge following while Thabang Monare is the most popular with his variety of content.

Other plays on the app include Bafana Bafana defender Rushine De Reuck and Swallows FC Waseem Isaacs.

Your thoughts, please?
