Willard Katsande is making extra boss moves

Known for doing the hard yards on the field of play, Sekhukhune United star Willard Katsande has been pushing the extra miles off the field, even opening a soccer school for youngsters. Here's a look at what the busy player has been up to recently!

Work ethic has been a massive part of Katsande's career. This is not only a reference to his anchor position on the field, but it is also evidence of the fact that he spent a decade playing for one of South Africa's top clubs Kaizer Chiefs.

Now in the later stages of his decorated career, the Zimbabwean is paving a new future for himself as well as for aspiring young footballers.

On 31 January, Katsande will be launching a new soccer school where they will offer football training lessons for boys and girls ages 7-16 years.

"Our vision is to develop young football players using specialised football programmes to help the player find their creativity, nurture their passion and improve technical and physical abilities," their mission statement on the official website reads.

The clothing line

Quite the multitasker, the former Chiefs midfielder is also handling his fashion label on the side called Boss Ya Mboka Clothing. It appears that the sale of products is already underway.

This is not his only other business venture as the 35-year-old also runs a construction company.

Your thoughts, please?

Would you consider Katsande an Amakhosi legend?
