Marumo Gallants FC 0-0 Orlando Pirates
Orlando Pirates missed the chance to close the gap on the DStv Diski Challenge leaders following a goalless draw against Marumo Gallants FC on Saturday.
Pirates created the majority of the earlier chances and were kept at bay by Gallants goalkeeper Banele Ledwaba, but the host replied and hit the post late on through Sibusiso Nkosi.
The Buccaneers are still third on the table and trail the pace-setters by two points, whilst languishing a point off Cape Town City in second-place.
Swallows FC 0-5 Golden Arrows
Swallows FC disappointing and inconsistent campaign took another twist with a 5-0 drubbing over Golden Arrows at the Dobsonville Stadium.
The KwaZulu-Natal boys took the lead two minutes in off Samkelo Mzolo, who doubled his cushion within six minutes and put them ahead at the break.
Mzolo carried on after the interval and completed his hat-trick around 54 minutes before Mthokozisi Duma finished off from the penalty spot to give Abafana Besthende a fourth.
Swallows fell on their sword again and conceded a fifth goal minutes to full-time when Siyanda Mthanti thumped in to complete the rout.
TS Galaxy 6-3 Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs were crushed in emphatic fashion against TS Galaxy following a dismal 6-3 humbling in the DStv Diski Challenge at the Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday.
Sanele Zulu got the ball rolling before Puso Dithejane brought matters level, but Galaxy went in front again after halftime through Aphelele Teto and made it three when Zulu completed his brace.
The Rockets bagged a fourth through Banele Nkosi who like Zulu went on to a double with another effort in quick succession before Mfundo Vilakazi and Neo Bohloko got the Amakhosi a lifeline.
However, Galaxy had a sixth when Danyaal Daya executed from the penalty spot in the dying minutes and saw the Rockets record their first win over Chiefs in the Diski Challenge.
SuperSport United 3-3 Cape Town City
SuperSport United remained within a point ahead of second-place Cape Town City as the two played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Dobsonville Stadium.
Lumphumlo Sifumba put the Citizens in front from the spot early in the first half, but United levelled in the space of minutes through Keenan Bezuidenhout.
Matsatsantsa went in front before the break when Daniel Okon got on the end of a cross and profited, but City clawed back through Luke Daniels and entered halftime level.
Shandre Campbell restored United's advantage following the break, but City again levelled when Sifumba riffled in and saw the spoils shared.
Richards Bay FC 0-0 Maritzburg United
Richards Bay FC and Maritzburg United cancelled out each other with a goalless draw in the KwaZulu-Natal derby in a mid-table contest.
The dropped points come on the back of the Natal Rich Boys to Swallows in the last match and see them in the mid-table standing after collecting the point with Maritzburg in the same positioning.
AmaZulu 1-1 Sekhukhune United
AmaZulu dropped two valuable points in their objective to cement their spot in the top eight following a 1-1 draw against Sekhukhune United.
Usuthu looked well on course to secure the maximum points and get back to winning ways, but Babina Noko rescued a point off Tshepo Mashigo's conversion.
Mamelodi Sundowns 3-0 Stellenbosch FC
Mamelodi Sundowns goy back to winning ways on the back of last weekend's defeat after recording 3-0 win over Stellenbosch FC.
The win takes the Brazilians up to fourth spot above Chiefs, while Stellies have dropped to seventh position.
Royal AM 2-1 Chippa United
Chippa United's woeful campaign at the foot of the table continued and succumbed to another defeat in a 2-1 loss to Royal AM.
Thwihili Thwahla are now out of the bottom-three after recording the win and a further seven points clear off Swallows FC in 15th place as the Chilli Boys remain rock-bottom.
