Sekhukhune United 0-3 Orlando Pirates

Orlando Pirates moved up to the top of the log with their fifth win in a row after thrashing Sekhukhune United 3-0 on Saturday afternoon at Tsakane Stadium.

Boitumelo Radiopane got the opener for the Buccaneers in the tenth minute with a finish inside the box after he was setup by Simiso Bophela and he doubled their lead eight minutes before the half-time break.

Thabiso Monyane sealed the deal with the third goal two minutes before time.

Kaizer Chiefs 0-1 Cape Town City

Kaizer Chiefs suffered their fifth loss after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Cape Town City on Sunday morning at Tsakane Stadium.

The Citizens were awarded a penalty in the 14th minute after Ashley Nel was brought down inside the box, before Rhodes Jaedin dispatched his spot-kick past goalkeeper Bontle Molefe.

Mamelodi Sundowns 1-2 Chippa United

Mamelodi Sundowns lost back-to-back matches for the first time this season after a 2-1 defeat to Chippa United on Saturday morning at Tsakane Stadium.

Ridwaan Cerfonteyn broke the deadlock for Daine Klate's charges just before the half-time break from a corner and Aviwe Mqokozo doubled their lead just before the hour-mark from another set-piece.

Sundowns pulled a goal back 22 minutes before time from a free-kick but the Chilli Boys held on to clinch back-to-back wins.

Stellenbosch 2-0 Marumo Gallants

Stellenbosch won their sixth consecutive game after beating Marumo Gallants 2-0 on Sunday morning at Idas Valley Sports Ground.

Roy-Keane Avontuur broke the deadlock for the hosts 17 minutes before time and Olwethu Nyembe sealed the deal in the last minute.

Stellies moved level on points with leaders Pirates but find themselves in second spot with a lesser goal difference.

SuperSport United 1-1 Maritzburg United

SuperSport United dropped down to seventh on the log after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Maritzburg United on Sunday morning at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

The Team of Choice broke the deadlock ten minutes before the half-time break from the penalty spot before Bilal Baloyi levelled matters for SuperSport with penalty of his own just before the hour-mark.

Kgodiso Sukati came close to snatching the winner for Matsatsantsa five minutes before time with a header that came off the bar.

TS Galaxy 2-1 Golden Arrows

TS Galaxy clinched two victories on the bounce after coming from behind to beat Golden Arrows 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Tsakane Stadium.

Senzo Hlophe broke the deadlock for Arrows in the 24th minute before the match was suspended on the hour-mark due to lightning and thunder.

However, the game resumed and as Comfort Modise pulled a goal back for the Rockets five minutes from the resumption of play and Kamogelo Sebelebele snatched the winner 16 minutes before time.
