Orlando Pirates dropped down to third spot on the DStv Diski Challenge table with a 2-1 loss to Stellenbosch FC in a top-of-the-table clash on Saturday.
The Buccaneers appeared to go on to victory after Ndumiso Ngiba's first half strike earned them the advantage at the halftime break.
However, Stellies put a gallant fight following the break and levelled through Devon Titus and secured the winner through a stunner from Jared Van de Burg.
Pirates also had to finish the match with ten players after Ngiba received his marching orders following a second bookable offence and had a first-time strike from Mohau Nkota disallowed.
SuperSport United 4-3 Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs slumped to a 4-3 loss against SuperSport United, who managed to leapfrog Orlando Pirates in second spot in the process.
The Amakhosi were behind through Sibusiso Maziko's penalty before Tendamudzimu Matodzi and another strike from Maziko gave United a three-goal cushion.
Chiefs fought back after halftime through Wandile Duba, Keletso Sifama before Neo Rapo had given United a fourth, but the Soweto giants sneaked in a late consolation through Mthokozisi Balakazi.
