The winner came in the earlier minutes of the first half and forward Ian Makaringe, who was a second half substitute for the first team in midweek against Sundowns, struck in the effort.

SuperSport United continued their impressive campaign and resumed duties positivity in a stern 2-1 victory over AmaZulu.
Neo Rapoo, who was a late substitute for the first team against Golden Arrows on Saturday, netted the opener a while in the second half.
