Swallows FC 2-1 Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs were denied back-to-back wins and went down 2-1 to Swallows FC in the Soweto derby in the DStv Diski Challenge on Sunday.
Chiefs entered the match with a 2-0 win over Sekhukhune United last weekend, while were held to a goalless draw against TS Galaxy.
Sekhukhune United 2-3 Cape Town City
Cape Town City made it six wins from six and maintained their spot at the top of the DStv Diski Challenge table courtesy of a 3-2 victory over Sekhukhune United on Saturday.
City were two goals up at the break before Babina Noko staged a lifeline a little after the interval through Simphiwe Mabena and Bongumusa Dlamini however the Citizens emerged victors in the end.
Royal AM 2-2 Orlando Pirates
Orlando Pirates blew an early two-goal lead and settled for a 2-2 draw against Royal AM at the Mpumalanga Stadium in Nelspruit.
Goals in the opening ten minutes from Charlie Khumalo and Nkosi Maphumulo, but AM pulled one back from the spot after the break and snatched a point with minutes to go.
Chippa United 0-1 Mamelodi Sundowns
A late 1-0 win over Chippa United was enough to get Mamelodi Sundowns over the line and to second spot on the league standings too.
Chippa's tough start to the campaign continues and have recorded just one win from their six matches to date, whilst Masandawana returns to winning ways to keep their top-half spot intact.
Maritzburg United 0-2 SuperSport United
SuperSport United got back to winning ways following a late 2-0 victory over Maritzburg United in Pietermaritzburg at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
With the first half ending goalless, Matsatsantsa got the opener courtesy of Keenan Bezuidenhout and made the points safe in the dying seconds through a stroke of good fortune.
AmaZulu 4-0 Marumo Gallants FC
AmaZulu hammered Marumo Gallants FC 4-0 and jumped to second spot on the table, six points off the leaders Cape Town City.
Goals from Lindani Shange and Siyanda Hlangabeza in the first half set Usuthu on their way and completed their dominance in the second half with Tebogo Mashigo netting the final strike.
Richards Bay FC 3-1 TS Galaxy
Richards Bay FC managed to get back to winning ways after last weekend's loss to Golden Arrows in the KwaZulu-Natal derby as they crushed TS Galaxy 3-1 at the Mpumalanga Stadium.
Lwandile Mabuya and a penalty near the end of the first half from Siyabonga Mthethwa led the Natal Rich Boyz to victory before Mthobisi Malinga made it three at the death.
Stellenbosch FC 4-2 Golden Arrows
A hat-trick in the first half from Mervin Boij steered the holders Stellenbosch FC to a comprehensive 4-2 win over Golden Arrows to go third on the table.
Boij opened the proceedings and as Sabelo Mthanti levelled, the former struck twice to complete a treble of strikes and saw Roy-Keane Avontuur adding a fourth ahead of the break.
Abafana Besthende looked to stage a comeback after the break, but it wasn't to be as Stellies stormed to victory.
