It’s not often that one comes across a DJ/producer who can also sing. Andyboi is one such talented individual whose 12-track debut album showcases his excellent vocal talents and compositions crafted in collaboration with Cuebur on production.
Andyboi’s artistic flexibility shines through on this album packed with various house music styles and a number of languages. In his own words, Andyboi drew inspiration to produce the album from, “the good and bad things that I’ve been through in my life and the memories of this incredible journey inspires me,” he said.
The first single off Trail Evolution is the deep and soulful ode to life, “Emhlabeni” which reached number one on YFM’s charts. More impressively the hit track has crossed boarders to as far as Angola, taking the number one spot on popular radio station MixFM.
There’s no doubt this is just the beginning for Andyboi and producer Cuebur as they look to continue their trailblazing evolution in the music industry.
